1. 30-Day Money-Back Guarantee
New customers on the following plans are eligible for a full refund within 30 days of the account activation date:
- Shared Hosting (cPanel, WordPress, DirectAdmin, Plesk)
- Reseller Hosting
- Cloud Hosting
- Email Hosting
To request a refund within this period, simply contact our billing team or open a support ticket. Refunds are processed within 3–7 business days back to the original payment method where possible.
2. Plans Not Covered by the Money-Back Guarantee
The following products and services are non-refundable due to the nature of their provisioning or third-party costs:
- VPS and Dedicated Servers (resources are reserved immediately on activation)
- Domain name registrations and transfers
- SSL certificates (once issued by the Certificate Authority)
- Web design and development services
- Custom software installation fees
- Administrative and setup fees
- Services already consumed or partially used beyond 30 days
3. Eligibility Requirements
To be eligible for the 30-day money-back guarantee:
- Your account must be a first-time account on the eligible plan type. Subsequent accounts for the same plan type are not covered.
- The refund request must be submitted on or before the 30th day from the account activation date.
- Your account must not have been suspended or terminated for a violation of our Acceptable Use Policy or Terms of Service.
The money-back guarantee applies once per customer. Customers who have previously received a refund under this guarantee are not eligible for a subsequent refund.
4. Refund Methods
Refunds are processed as follows based on the original payment method:
Mobile Money (MTN / Airtel)
Refunds are credited back to the originating mobile money number within 3–5 business days.
Pesapal (Visa / Mastercard)
Refunds are returned to the original card. Processing times are subject to your card issuer — typically 5–7 business days. The refund amount reflects net funds received after gateway fees.
Bank Transfer
Refunds are issued to the originating bank account. Please provide your bank details when submitting your refund request.
Account Credit
Refunds may alternatively be issued as account credit to your Salama Hosting wallet, which will be automatically applied against future invoices. Account credit top-ups are non-refundable.
5. Renewals and Upgrades
The 30-day money-back guarantee applies to initial activations only — it does not cover renewal payments. If you wish to cancel before a renewal, please submit a cancellation request via the Client Area before the renewal date. Renewals already processed are non-refundable.
Plan upgrades are charged at the prorated difference and are non-refundable once the upgrade has been applied to your account.
6. Account Suspension
Accounts suspended for non-payment may be reactivated by settling all outstanding invoices. No refund will be issued for any period during which an account was suspended due to a policy violation.
